Ryan is the family cat. And by that i mean he is our family. He has been apart of my life for the most important years ive had. And now a major part of my daughters life. The best companion you could ask for . Ryan was your average healthy 12 year old cat until last night 9/21/25 around 6 pm i noticed he was struggling in and out of the litter box to use the bathroom. Worried to wait till morning i rushed in to an emergency vet where he was assessed. He ended up having high blood cell counts, a lot of crystals in his urine, he was in-fact blocked. He had an obstructed bladder, neoplasia, urolithiasis, mucus plug, and borderline septic. I was quoted 6000 to keep him there for a few days but like any other normal person that was just absolutely not possible so they gave me another quote for 900 for immediate care to stabilize him until i could get him in a vet. So we did that. He did great when he was put under to drain and flush blockage with catheter. He was given meds to take home. Took him to safe haven earlier and paid 1,000 to continue care. Which included being put under again, another catheter to keep draining and flushing. I had to use every dollar in my bank account that was for bills for the month, as a single mom doing it all on our own. With that being said i am taking any donations to help in this financial strain. And also prayers for the best outcome possible. so please as well keep Ryan in your prayers that he makes it through this safely. Anything helps even if its just thoughts and prayers you have to offer. Thank you
