Ryan was involved in a very serious head on motorbike accident with a bus between Winterton and Scunthorpe on Friday 20th March 2026, and has sustained multiple life threatening injuries. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support him in the best way possible during this incredibly difficult time.

He has suffered significant internal trauma and has already undergone several major surgeries. He remains in hospital receiving intensive care, is still in a lot of pain, and is at the very early stages of what will be a long and challenging recovery.

Anyone who knows Ryan knows how strong, determined, and full of life he is, he truly is the strongest man we know, and we have no doubt he will fight his way through this.

We have set up this fundraiser to help support Ryan financially while he is in hospital and throughout his recovery. Being unable to work, alongside the long-term impact of his injuries, will place a huge strain on him, and we want to do everything we can to ease that burden.
