Support Ryan Davis’ Recovery and Care for His Mom

On March 8th, 2026, Ryan’s mom, Cheri, suffered a massive stroke—just as she was finally recovering from breast cancer. Ryan immediately flew from San Diego, CA to Ketchikan, Alaska to be by her side and support his family.

But while he was caring for her, Ryan started having severe pain in his thigh—so bad he could barely walk. The ER doctor did a CT ultrasound and said it was just a hematoma: rest, ice, elevate. Two weeks later, there was no improvement.

Ryan went back to the ER. This time, they discovered the pain was actually an abscess. He needed emergency surgery. He was immediately admitted to the hospital with sepsis—a life-threatening infection spreading through his body.

While treating him, doctors also discovered Ryan had undiagnosed type 2 diabetes and hypertension. He’s now managing multiple serious conditions on top of recovering from a major infection and surgery.

To make matters worse:

· Ryan will be out of work indefinitely
· He was between insurance coverage when this happened
· He now faces mounting medical bills, ongoing prescriptions, and follow-up care—with no income

Ryan will be staying in Ketchikan as the primary caretaker for his mother while she is in hospice. At home. She has been eating in limited amounts and is severely disabled, requiring 24/7 care.

Ryan has always been the person who shows up when others need help. Now, he needs us to show up for him.

Your donations will go toward:

· Emergency room visits, sepsis hospitalization, and abscess surgery
· Diabetes and hypertension medication and monitoring
· Living expenses (rent, food, basic bills) while he is unable to work
· Follow-up doctor visits and post-sepsis care

Any amount helps. Even sharing this campaign makes a difference.

Thank you for being part of Ryan’s recovery.
