Help Ryan Fight Stage 4 Colon Cancer & Access Life-Saving Care
Hi — my name is Ryan.
I’m a 44-year-old Arizona native who loves the outdoors, camping, music, and meaningful conversations. I’ve always tried to live with an open heart, help people when I can, and appreciate the simple things in life.
Last week, my world changed when I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to my liver.
I’ve faced cancer before. In 2013, I survived kidney cancer. I truly believed that chapter of my life was behind me — but here I am again, fighting for my life.
I’m unmarried, live on a single income, and have two fur babies who are my world. Between mounting medical bills, ongoing treatment costs, and daily living expenses, I am burning through funds quickly — and this is only the beginning.
My employer has shared that because they are a small company, FMLA coverage does not apply. They are currently looking into other possible options, but at this time nothing is certain — and that uncertainty is incredibly stressful while trying to focus on my health and healing journey. My ultimate goal would be to raise enough to do a holistic clinic in Mexico that is much healthier and safer than chemo only. Some would suggest the success rate is higher also! I will also need surgery for the mass removal in my colon. Long road ahead
I never imagined I would be in a position to ask for help in this manner. Its hits your pride, it feels like you failed, and you feel judged. This is humbling, uncomfortable, and not something that comes easily for me.
But the reality is that I cannot do this alone. Please help me save my life
