Help Me Get Urgent Dental Care While Caring for My Mom
Hi, my name is Ryan Bradford, and I’m reaching out for help with something I never thought I’d need to ask for.
This past July, my mother had a serious accident and has been out of work ever since. Her short-term disability pay doesn’t come close to covering her medical and household expenses, so I’ve stepped in to help however I can. I’ve also been taking time off work to care for her — both right after she got out of the hospital and now to get her to her ongoing appointments.
Between reduced hours and rising bills, my finances have been stretched thin. I lost my medical and dental insurance last year, and recently one of my teeth broke. The pain has gotten so bad that it’s affecting my ability to eat and sleep, and I’ve been told I need a root canal and crown as soon as possible. I had already been experiencing significant dental issues with several teeth for quite a few months, but this surpassed all of it by far.
The total cost of the dental work for the broken tooth is $2,400, and with everything going on, I just don’t have it.
I don't expect to raise enough money to take care of other teath at this time. I'm just hoping that I can raise enough to allow me to repair the one that causing so much pain and is interfering with daily life.
This fundraiser will go directly toward:
Root canal treatment
Crown placement
Related dental visits and medications
Financially, this past year has been the hardest of my life — but I wouldn’t trade being there for my mom. She’s always been my rock, and I’ll do anything I can to support her through this. I just need a little help right now to take care of my own health, too.
If you’re able to contribute or share this campaign, it would mean more than I can say. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
With gratitude,
Ryan Bradford
