On Tuesday, August 19th, Ryan Scro was taken to the ER after feeling extremely ill, battling a fever and several other symptoms. He was admitted to the hospital and is still there.

So far, he has gone through a lumbar puncture, ultrasounds, CT Scan, MRI, endless amounts of bloodwork, medication/antibiotics and procedure to drain out a large amount of bacteria caused by an abscess on his liver. Ultimately suffering from Sepsis (Strepangineous) which can be life threatening. They were lucky that it was caught it in time, he was extremely sick.

Ryan is on his way to better health, but it has been a long and eventful stay in the hospital. Discharge date is still TBD. There will still be a very long road to recovery at home, but he is looking forward to sleeping and watching football in his own bed! And of course getting home to his boys, Luke and Ben. Ryan and his wife Katrina are overwhelmed with all of the support and well wishes they have received.
