Bone Marrow Transplant & Leukemia(AML) Diagnosis

On behalf of Ryan, his family has come together to help get this account going for him.

Ryan is a father, a significant other, and a friend to many.

He has been feeling sick for months, but on Wednesday, 10/26/22, he was rushed to the ER, and he could barely breathe. Once they started the tests on him, the test showed that his hemoglobin was at a devastating level of 4.3. He was given his first blood transfusion, and soon after, they transferred him by ambulance to a hospital out of state.

After 4 blood transfusions, 3 platelet transfusions, 3 plasma transfusions, and a bone marrow biopsy, the devastating news of

Leukemia, specifically Acute Myeloid Leukemia was diagnosed.

Ryan will begin chemotherapy and will be in the hospital for at least 4-6 weeks to complete his treatment and any other required therapies.

At this point, Ryan does not have an income coming in as he is a small business owner, but he does not have any employees, therefore the business is shut down.

He is over 2 hours away from home at the current hospital he is in now. As you can imagine, it has been a very stressful and challenging time for his family with the incurred costs of traveling.

**Update**

As of 2/28/23, Ryan will be getting 4 days worth of chemo before he starts his bone marrow transplant. He will be in the hospital for about 4 weeks.

Please keep him in your thoughts through this difficult time.

If you know Ryan he is the kindest, most caring person. He is always there to help a friend or stranger in need.

We ask everyone to rally together to help Ryan in this time of need, as he would do for others.
