Help Ryan & Neisha Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa

Jamaica has always held a special place in our hearts. Our families fell in love with the island’s people, culture, and beauty—so much so that we visited twice last year. We met two incredible people, Neisha and Ryan, whose kindness, joy, and generosity touched us deeply.

Neisha is a teacher at Grants Basic School, where she gives her heart and soul to her students, even though she isn’t paid for her work. She’s constantly organizing book and school supply drives to ensure her students have what they need to learn and grow. Her love for education and her community shines through every single child she teaches.

Ryan and Neisha also run a local tour business, which has been their family’s main source of income. They worked tirelessly to save enough money to purchase their tour van, offering visitors unforgettable, authentic experiences of Jamaica’s beauty and culture. Their hard work, dedication, and love for people made every tour feel like time spent with family.

We were fortunate enough to spend several days with Ryan and Neisha, and we can honestly say they are two of the most genuine, loving people we’ve ever met. They live life with open hearts, raising two beautiful children (a daughter and a son) and always giving more than they have.

Sadly, Hurricane Melissa has devastated their home and their community. They lost everything except the clothes on their backs and their tour van. They currently have no running water, no electricity, and food is scarce.

Now, it’s our turn to give back to a family who has given so much to others.
