Dear Friends and Supporters,

My name is Ryan McBride and I'm a Paramedic in San Diego. I am excited to share that I’ll soon be embarking on another life-changing medical mission to provide essential care to underserved communities in the Philippines with Venture to Heal!! Venture to Heal is a non-profit Organization Medical Team from San Diego—created by Van Tran!

I have more than 18 years of experience in paramedicine. I have worked with the City of San Diego and local area hospitals. This will be my third mission, following my rewarding experiences in the Philippines in 2019 and Vietnam in 2020!

I am raising funds to cover the costs of medical supplies and travel and to support local healthcare initiatives. Every donation, regardless of the amount, will directly contribute to delivering critical care, medical supplies, and resources to those in need.

As the season of giving approaches and with only a few months remaining before the mission (February 1-17, 2025), we are working tirelessly to collect the essential medications, vitamins, and supplies. While some of our mission fees are used for communal needs such as logistics and office supplies, the majority of the materials needed to run our mobile clinics are obtained through personal efforts and donations.

In previous missions, the generous contributions of family, friends, and colleagues have made an incredible difference. Whether through monetary donations or physical supplies, your support helps us create a lasting impact. For example, each team member will be bringing one or two 50lb boxes of supplies. On the last trip, I brought two boxes of Child/Adult Tylenol, ibuprofen, toothbrushes, adult/child vitamins, and school supplies. I shopped at Costco and it worked out perfectly!

Every dollar donated will purchase medications and supplies for these patients and their families in the Philippines.

Remember, each donation of any value is 100% tax-deductible! If you are able to buy vitamins, Tylenol, Ibuprofen (both adult and children’s), or school supplies in bulk, I can arrange to meet with you and retrieve them. receipt as it’s tax-deductible! This is going for a good cause and it’s worth a shot at any help to do this mission with Venture to Heal in the Philippines in 2025! This is the first trip since COVID!!
