I've been diagnosed with rectal cancer with metastasis to the lungs. Last fall I did 6 weeks of radiation and 12 weeks of chemotherapy which shrunk my tumors by about 80%. Now I have been given, by my Oncologist, a year to live without more Chemo or 3 years being on Chemo. Rather than being sick from side effects of Chemo, I'm choosing alternative routes over toxic chemotherapy that are not covered by insurance and very expensive. Treatments, to name a few are mistletoe, vitamin C and 3 other IVs, methylene blue, red light therapy, Oxygen baths, hyperthermia and hyperbaric oxygen chamber.

UPDATE: I have signed up for an alternative/complimentary healing treatment program at Lifeworks Wellness Center in Clearwater, Florida. It is world renowned for their treatment of various diseases including Cancer at an 85% success rate. Unfortunately it is about $6,000 per week for the program for the first 12 weeks. It includes the above treatments along with many more along with drugs not approved in the US but used successfully in Europe, massive tests of blood, stool, urine and saliva, some which need to be done out of the country. nutritional supplements, homeopathics, and a very low dose of chemotherapy that uses insulin to trick cancer cells to open the glucose receptors and gobble up chemo instead. Although it is going to be intense, I am super excited and optimistic about the possibilities of this treatment. I will be starting January 5th, 5 days per week for 12 weeks.
