My Name is Ryan Blair, And I’m Asking for a Lifeline

Hello, my name is Ryan Blair. I’m a 49-year-old man, originally from New Zealand, a believer in the Most High, and someone who has always tried to live life with decency and humility.

Over the past two years, I’ve been homeless living out of my small Toyota Corolla hatchback. It’s not something I ever imagined for myself, but life doesn’t always go as planned.

What began as a temporary setback turned into a long and painful journey through health issues, financial struggles, and uncertainty.

I’ve been dealing with ongoing medical conditions that make daily life incredibly difficult.Some days I can barely walk due to intense groin pain, and my mobility has declined signicantly.

Because of these health problems, working is simply not an option for me. I receive no government benets. The only help I’ve had has come from kind-hearted people willing to lend a hand.

Every donation I receive makes the difference between surviving and suffering.

For a while, I was living on a small block of land where I had permission to stay. I built a simple but functional camp that provided me with some form of stability a safe space to rest, heal, and take care of myself. Unfortunately, the owner needed the land back for construction, and I was asked to leave.

I lost the one place that gave me a sense of security, and with it,

I lost hope for a while.

That transition was devastating. I not only lost my shelter I lost my footing, both physically and emotionally.

I returned to living in my car, facing cold nights,limited access to hygiene, and constant stress about where I’ll go next.

it’s not just uncomfortable it’s dangerous for someone with my health challenges.

Still, I haven’t given up. I’m currently looking for another small piece of land or safe place to stay, somewhere I can rebuild some stability, even if it’s just enough to get by.

But with no income and no support, I can’t do it alone.
