Ryan Badley is a love husband and father who was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer about a year ago. Through the year his family has had many ups and downs dealing with cancer but Ryan’s tough and has worked almost the whole time supporting his family. Now his cancer is progressing and he is currently at hospice house trying to get him comfortable enough to be able to come home to his wife and kids. Two months ago they suffered their biggest cancer set back yet and Ryan, being the sole provider for his house; has not been able to return to work since. Ryan works for the Central Oregon Irrigation district as well as owns and runs his own company Specialty Gas Services. As you can imagine battling cancer has exhausted all of his PTO with COI and being a business owner his personal business has been at a complete standstill. This means they have gone months without any income and they are facing many more months of uncertainty as his wife Sonja cares for Ryan and their two kids Riley, 13 and Abigail 11. Ryan has been a hard worker all of his life working multiple jobs, volunteering with the fire department, and doing everything in his means to support his family. No one expects cancer before the age of 40 especially not stage 4. This is not something they were prepared for and although they are both trying their hardest they need some help to keep their house and kids afloat while they navigate these times.
