Ryan Heun, one of our local volunteer firefighters here in Hanging Limb, TN, was burned when his tractor radiator exploded. 90% of his back, his right arm and rib cage received 2nd degree burns. He was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital’s burn unit by helicopter. Once discharged from the hospital, he will have to return regularly to have his bandages changed. Ryan and his wife, Brittany have 2 small children, Hudson, 5 and Wyatt who is 18 months. They have insurance that will pay most of the medical expenses, but will not cover the helicopter or gas and food for the trips back to Vanderbilt that is 2 hours away. Ryan works for himself and will be unable to return to work for several weeks or months. Money will be very tight for them so any help you can afford would be greatly appreciated.
