Honoring Ryan Herrold - Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Lindsay, and I have been a friend of Jamie’s for many years. With unimaginable sorrow, I share the passing of her beloved son, Ryan Alan Wesley Herrold, who left this world far too soon on April 24, 2025, at just 15 years old.

Ryan was a cherished son, brother, and friend, deeply loved by his mother Jamie Weyers and stepfather Jared Weyers of Lincoln, NE; his father Travis Herrold of Hastings, NE; and his honorary stepmother Lisa Featherstone of Hastings, NE and stepmother Bridget Meyer. He was a devoted brother to Evan Herrold, Hope Wilson, Gabriella Enck-Herrold, Emma Weyers, Jase Herrold, Lyla Weyers, stepbrother Colton Meyer, and honorary stepbrothers Liam and Laken Bohlen.

Ryan touched the lives of so many with his gentle soul, selfless heart, and unwavering ability to make others feel seen and never alone. He loved playing baseball, immersing himself in video games, and sharing quiet moments with the people he loved. Whether on the field or behind a controller, Ryan brought joy and laughter to those around him.

As Ryan’s family navigates this unimaginable loss, we are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, memorial arrangements, and additional support for his loved ones. The financial impact of such a tragedy is overwhelming, and we hope to ease their worries so they can focus on remembering and celebrating Ryan’s life.
