Support Ryan Ferguson's Brain Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
I am reaching out on behalf of my brother, Ryan Ferguson.
Ryan is 27 years old and was just diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis type 2, which is a disorder characterized by the growth of noncancerous tumors in the nervous system.
After being sick for a few months and after local doctors gave Ryan the wrong diagnosis and nothing was working, he and my parents decided to go to OSU Hospital for answers on 4/27. He received the news he had 4 brain tumors; 2 were pressing on his brain stem and causing his brain to shift, and he would have to have emergency brain surgery to remove the ones pressing on the brain stem. He was then transferred to ICU and had to undergo a 10-hour brain surgery on 4/30. He is currently recovering in the hospital.
He also received news that he now has a blood clot on his brain, and if it doesn't go away, he will have to undergo another surgery. He has a long road ahead of him. I am asking for any donations to help him while he is out of work, to help with his rent, medical bills, and future travel expenses going back and forth to appointments.
Anything is appreciated!!
If you can't donate, please share this and keep my brother in your prayers. He needs all he can get!
Thank you!
