Support Ryan Chapman's Recovery Journey

On behalf of our Brother Anthony Chapman, Montclair PBA Local 53 has created this GoFundMe to raise funds to assist Brother Chapman during this trying time. Brother Chapman has been a member of our local for over 22 years, he is a devoted father and husband who works tirelessly to financially provide for his family. Brother Chapman has been out of work ever since the accident to remain by the side of his son, Ryan Chapman, who miraculously survived. Ryan was involved in a tragic car accident where the driver, Evan Fiore, and front seat passenger, Kiley Armstrong, sadly died on impact. The vehicle that caused the collision was operated by an unlicensed driver, who evaded authorities in several jurisdictions and ultimately ran a red light at over 100 mph and t-boned their vehicle.

Ryan and his girlfriend, Krista Armstrong, twin sister to Kiley, were in the backseat and both were ejected from the vehicle upon impact. Both Ryan and Krista were flown to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center via Medevac and were listed in critical condition.

Ryan suffered a brain bleed, fractured hip, fractured ankle, fractured face, bruised lungs, and lacerated bladder. Krista suffered a fractured hip, broken ribs, and a spinal break/fracture. Needless to say, it is a miracle that they both survived and still have a very long road to recovery. We would like to provide Brother Chapman with one less thing to worry about during this time, so any and all donations would be immensely appreciated.
