Support Ryan Burton's Vision for TORAE Recovery

My name is Ryan Burton, and I’m the President and CEO of TORAE Recovery Services LLC. We are a newly created business, as of April 2024. The organization is currently not operational as it’s in need of funding to purchase equipment and other necessities. But first, let me tell you a little bit about myself and TORAE Recovery.

I was born in Arizona in 1989, where I spent most of my life. My younger years were filled with sports, family, and volunteer work. Being from a broken home led me and my family down a tougher road than others. Raised by a single mother made money more necessary, whether it be for food, functions for my sister and me, or just to keep the power on.

After high school, I attended community college for a semester. I shortly left for the US Navy on Valentine’s Day in 2008. A few months after arrival, I was given a medical discharge. I filled my resume with odd jobs: collections, insurance underwriting, security, and much more. In 2013, I secured my first position in a repossession company in Phoenix, AZ. Since then, I’ve committed my life to the repossession industry. In 2023, I participated in URR’s Recovery Master program. I immediately supported and invested in the program, promoting safety, standardized training, and equipping agents with the tools to be professional and efficient.

After a 9-year tenure as the Field Operations Manager for Alpha Recovery in Arizona, I chose to create TORAE Recovery Services LLC. Now residing in Ohio, I wanted to bring my business philosophies to the Columbus market. TORAE Recovery’s mission is to provide a safe and profitable environment for its team, swift and effective service to its clients, and operate within communities with integrity, discipline, and kindness.

I have self-funded this venture thus far, as a husband and father of 2 beautiful daughters. But now I am in need of additional support. Helping contribute to TORAE Recovery Services LLC's creation and implementation will allow you to be a part of the next generation of professional asset recovery specialists. Supporting asset recovery organizations that promote positive and healthy philosophies and practices will only strengthen our communities during a time that’s not comfortable for anyone involved. We are committed to breaking the stigma of the repossession industry and being a pioneer of the next generation of repossessors and/or owners.
