Hello community!

We are asking for your help to support Micheal Cohen and his parents as they navigate this difficult time.

What started as a trip to urgent care for neck stiffness that seemed to worsen over the previous few days has become the nightmare of child diagnosis's for any parent. Drs have found an advanced stage sarcoma starting from his chest which then metastasized up to the right side of his neck. His senior year will now be filled with surgery, recovery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Right now, Drs are managing vessel complications caused by the pressure of this mass on the IJVT. It is undoubtable that the family could use support in any way possible at this time. Ryah has made the move to Tucson to be present with her son, and the family will need support to be able to take time off, and be the constant support Micheal needs. Our priority is that the family is able to spend as much time together as possible, without the financial stressors that, while always present, are greatly exacerbated by times like this.

Michael is in the care of the incredibly skilled medical team at Diamond Cancer Care at Banner University Hospital. The same hospital he was born at 18 years ago this month.
