1/29 Update: it’s been just over a month since mom’s (Ruth’s) stroke and there've been lots of ups and downs. She was progressing, slowly, but still progressing. They did a scan of her left leg and found a blood clot, so she went in today and had a filter placed to stop it from traveling. And she has been moved from the rehab facility to a skilled nursing facility. Please keep the prayers coming, as there is still a very long road ahead of us.

As many of you know, our mom, Ruth, suffered a stroke just before the new year. After spending a week in ICU she was transferred to a rehab where she currently is in intensive therapy to try and regain use of her left side.

During all of this, our dad, Jim, has tirelessly taken care of mom and her every need. Because of this, he neglected caring for himself and was severely dehydrated and ended up spending a night in the hospital himself.

We have had several people reach out for a way to help our parents financially.

We ask that you please continue praying for us and specifically for our parents and mom's complete healing.
