Our family is reaching out in faith and humility during this very difficult time. Anyone who knows Ruth knows her deep love for God and others — she has always been the first to pray for those in need, offer comfort, and share her kindness without hesitation. Her gentle heart, faith-filled spirit, and generosity have blessed so many lives. In August, Ruth suffered a medical emergency that led to a cardiac arrest, resulting in a significant brain injury that has left her bedbound in a minimally conscious state. Although these past few months have been incredibly challenging (with several procedures including tracheotomy, colostomy, PICC line feeding tube, debridement surgery, etc.) we remain hopeful as she continues her long and delicate journey to recovery.

The costs of her hospital care, therapies, and long-term rehabilitation are far beyond what our family can manage alone. We are asking our community of faith, friends, and family to join us in prayer and, if possible, to contribute toward her medical expenses. Every donation will go directly toward her care, treatment, and recovery efforts.

Most of all, we ask that you keep Ruth in your prayers — for healing, strength, comfort, and restoration. We believe that with God’s grace, and with the love and support of those around her, Ruth will continue to heal and move toward the life and people she cherishes so deeply.
