Ruthie is my best friend, and she’s been through so much since last May. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and has already faced chemotherapy and surgery, with radiation still ahead. Through all of this, Ruthie has shown incredible strength and kindness, even as she’s had to use her savings and 401k just to keep her home and try to keep up with mounting medical bills. She is no longer employed, and her Cobra insurance hasn’t kicked in yet, making things even more stressful.

Ruthie is one of the most loving, caring, and honest people I’ve ever known. She’s always been there for others, and now she’s facing these hardships while battling cancer. The financial strain is overwhelming, and her sister has missed so much work to care for her, adding to the challenges they’re facing every day.
