Help Ruth Shehan,
Keep Her Sparkle (and Her Sass!)
If laughter really is the best medicine, then Ruth should be cured. She’s the life of every party, the queen of one-liners, and the person who somehow makes everyone else feel better—even when she’s the one fighting cancer.
Ruth was first diagnosed in 2022 with stage 3 ovarian cancer. She had a full hysterectomy followed by six rounds of chemo. She’s been on the chemo pill for two years and has to get bloodwork done monthly. Ruth found out she has the BRCA1 gene and it is recommended to have a double mastectomy to lower her chances of breast cancer. While waiting for that surgery to happen, she got the news that her cancer has returned in her abdomen. Ruth is scheduled for a big surgery at the end of Oct followed by chemo treatments again.
Between treatments, time off work, and all the not-so-fun parts of this journey, the bills add up fast. So we’re coming together to help our favorite firecracker focus on healing.
Let’s show Ruth the same love, laughter, and support she gives so freely to everyone else. Every donation—big or small—helps her keep her sparkle and sass right where it belongs: lighting up the world around her.
