Hello Everyone. Thank you for taking the time to hear about my sweet friend that is in desperate need of our help as a community who loves and cares for each other!
Here is what Ruth sent me when I asked what she was comfortable sharing with each of you.
"On May 3 I fled from my husband and my home due to domestic violence. We are currently still displaced from our home due to a judge not renewing the restraining order that temporarily was protecting us. Fleeing from the abuse instantly made me a single mother to our 3 precious children ages 17, 15, and 12.
Because the legal investigations are ongoing I can't lay out the details of our story as to why we had to flee to be safe, or where we are currently finding shelter at this time. I will say that I am having some great conversations with other women who have escaped domestic violence. Their spiritual hunger is palpable. I'm currently working on sourcing some Bibles to share with a few of them. It may not have been my plan to be a "slave in Egypt", but God is using it nonetheless.
I immediately got a full time job with overtime. My boss is discussing a promotion and I also plan to go to college to get my degree in Nursing.
This catastrophic situation has created a lot of mountains to climb. All our everyday needs, plus educational costs, medical costs, legal costs, eventual housing costs, care repairs (I got the broken car out of the marriage that needs a timing chain) etc.
Many have asked how they can help, so someone set this up for me. I will continue doing all in my power to provide for my family! This fund is for the big things that will get me on my feet and me and my children safe!
To those who are so generously sharing this huge burden I am bearing with me, Thank YOU!!! Please keep me in your prayers and may God richly bless You!"

Together with Ruth I have figured out her approximate needs which I have listed below so you know where your funds will be going.
The two older children are/will be attending a Christian boarding school again this year. Ruth has been hard at work reaching out to possible education sponsors to help her children stay in this excellent school. But she finds herself about $5000. short per child.
The medical bills is her amount after their insurance paid their part.
Some of the cost of car repairs has already been funded.
Attorney...well, good ones COST!
Housing...She will be setting up from scratch since her husband has been able to stay in the home they shared.
Education - $15,000.
Medical Bills - $3,000.
Attorney - $10,000.
Car Repairs - $1,500.
Housing - $5,500.
Thank you!!! Each of you!!! From the bottom of my heart!!!
