It is with heavy hearts that we share the recent passing of our sweet and beloved Ruth Flores, after a brave and courageous battle with a very aggressive form of ovarian cancer. Ruthy was the heart of her family and a source of strength and pure kindness for everyone who knew her. She brightened every room she entered with her beautiful smile and was someone you could always count on—whether it was lending a helping hand, sharing a laugh, keeping a secret, or standing by family in tough times. Her legacy is the love she gave to her mom, sister, aunt, cousins, and her special Lunardi’s Customers she loved greeting every day.

What makes this loss even more difficult is the worry Ruthy carried every day: the fear that her mom and aunt could lose the home they’ve built a life in together. As the family’s sole provider, Ruthy shouldered the mortgage, bills, groceries, and medical costs for Mom Lucy (92 years old) and Auntie Mela (104 years old). Now, after her passing, her loved ones are facing significant financial hardship and uncertainty about their future.

We are coming together to honor Ruthy’s memory by supporting her family as they navigate life after her passing. Funds raised will help cover funeral and memorial service expenses, mortgage payments to prevent foreclosure, utility bills, groceries, and outstanding medical bills for Ruth's mother and aunt.
