In loving memory of Ruth Carrillo

Hi my name is Tiffany Carrillo and I am fundraising for my hero , my aunt Ruthie Carrillo.

Ruth Carrillo, Ruthie to all those who love her, is one of the kindest and most genuine people you will ever meet. She is the epitome of loving wife to her husband Noel Carrillo and mother to her two beautiful children , Adian (10) and Victoria (6).

Ruth wears many hats. She is an accountant, PTA mom, baseball mom, active church member, and a FIGHTER. She fights daily to be an example of Christ’s love to everyone she encounters, she fights for her family and lifts them up at every chance she gets, and she fights to prioritize her health. And while sickness would try fight back and drain her, Ruth faithfully chose health and fitness. She enjoys all sports with her family especially tennis . If you wandered into a local Lifetime Fitness, you’d catch her not just working out but taking BACK TO BACK classes. From spin to Zumba to barbell lifting. Even aquatics! Nothing was off limits. This is the character of a fighter.

Ruthie fought and won against breast cancer in 2018. She always acknowledged that this victory came by the grace of God and that overwhelming sense of gratitude fueled her to keep up the fight. She fought to connect members of her family back to God and set off a chain of events that would see her lineage changed for the better and impacting the kingdom of Heaven in ways that they could never have dreamed.

Unfortunately, she fell ill again in April and after numerous attempts to get well was told her cancer had returned in her lymph nodes.

Fighting her cancer this go round has had complications. Her chemo treatments left her with blood clots.

Due to aggressive spread of her cancer, she has lost her hearing, has had multiple organ failures and has not been able to consume food.

Yet she still fights to hold on to hope. Ruthie is believing that she will see victory and be able to eat, keep the food down, and be nourished so she can continue battling her illness.
