I'm sending this into the universe with nothing but faith and hope. This GOFUNDME is an attempt to raise the last bit of money for my sister’s burial that is set to take place this coming Monday October 7th, 2024. On September 15, 2024, One of my 8 sister passed away as a result of liver failure due to alcoholism at the too young age of 53 years old. As some people may know I was only raised with 1 out of 7 of my biological sisters. During one of NY trips back home visiting that one sister encouraged me to try and find our siblings and history was made. Not only we're we reconnect Ruth Batiz Jefferson aka Pumpkin looked strikingly like that sister I grew up with and was unable to share in those typical sister moment with due to incarceration.
