This Go Fund Me is being setup for one of the strongest, bravest, most independent and capable people I’ve ever known. Russ has served on the city council, raced cars in Brainerd, finished Grandmas marathon twice, acted in plays and these are just a few of his accomplishments!

Russ was born with a condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, he is no stranger to broken bones. I’ve never once heard him complain or let it hold him back. As we are all getting older, broken bones and health problems occur. Russ recently broke his arm. If you’ve ever seen him get in and out of his car, you know how much strength he needs. On top of that, he’s been dealing with heart issues and most recently his kidneys. He needs dialysis 3 times/week. He is recuperating at Lakeshore Ecumen, but they do not provide transportation and it’s quite costly.

The goal is to get him strong enough to go home and be able to drive to his appointments. This has been a long and expensive journey and he’s not over the hump yet. As Uncle Skunkle’s nieces and nephews, we’re asking for help for him because he would never do it himself. We want to see him living his best life without the financial stress these setbacks have caused. We appreciate anything you can give, sharing this post and of course your support for Russ. Thank you!
