Hello Friends! As many of you know, Russ is battling stage 4 metastatic renal cancer. It has spread to his lungs, brain, and pituitary gland. He is a strong man and a fighter, that's for sure! He is having immunotherapy treatment and radiation currently to hopefully kick this horrible disease out of his body! His symptoms at times have left him unable to enjoy normal daily activities, which definitely gets him down, especially when he can't go hunting . His doctors and treatment are about 70 miles from home, so on those days, I have to use FMLA at work to drive him back and forth. Any time he has a hospital stay, I will not leave his side! I feel that it's very important to have an advocate on your side in these situations, and I made a vow to him that I would be here in sickness and in health ❤️. Unfortunately, Russ was medically forced into retirement 5 years ago, and I have been the only income for the family. Social Security does not pay much, as you all know. We get by, but FMLA does not pay me for the time I am off with him. So, it is a struggle at times to get groceries for the week and make payments on our regular bills, let alone the hospital bills that keep pouring in! ‍

Anyone that knows Russ, LOVES Russ! He is always the guy people call when they need to talk or need anything, and he is always happy to be there for his people!

Whether you can donate financially to help us get through this bump in the road or not, we ask that you really pray like you've never prayed before! Pray that this horrible disease be taken away from his body and claim healing in the name of Jesus!!!
