Support Russlyn's Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Jhinel and I live in Los Angeles. I'm starting this fundraiser on behalf of my stepmom, Russlyn Nicolas, who lives in The Bay and is fighting breast cancer that metastasized to her spine. She has lost the mobility of her right hand, therefore, the cervical surgeries were needed and then a month later she lost the sensation on her right leg due to needed radiation treatment from the hospital. She was transferred to an assisted living for rehab and recovery. For her some days are okay while other days are not. She gets therapy 4 times a week. She is unable to stand on her own. She’s working on strengthening her muscles at the gym. She has one more month for her neck collar before they get removed. This battle is getting tiring and she doesn’t know how much weaker she’s going to get once she starts this infused chemo. She is deeply loved by so many and is the most incredible grandmother, mom, sister, and friend. I decided to start this fundraiser to take some financial stress off of her and her kids (my siblings) at this time as she is now unable to work and will be needing full-time care.
