Support Russell's Classroom in Rogers Park

Hi, I'm Russell. I teach 8th and 9th grade social studies in Rogers Park.

I am hosting this gofundme because I am seeking your support in helping provide the best experiences to over 140 young people that I can. We do a lot of projects, service in the community, and activities that require supplies... alas working for a cash-strapped charter has it's downsides.

To give you a sense of where your support goes:

+ Gluesticks, scissors, construction paper

+ Shelving/cubby units

+ Markers/Colored Pencils/Highlighters

+ Other interactive/arts and crafts supplies

+ Lots of Snacks!! (So important for keeping kids around after school)

+ Books (We have no class sets, and I aspire to buy a graphic novel class set)

... the many other expenses occurred in the running of a classroom
