I am raising funds for my good friend Russell. Russell is a night security officer at a children's hospital. He is extremely friendly and because he is outside every morning he greets staff and starts everyone's day off with a smile.

Recently Russell was in an auto accident leaving from work. The person causing the accident left the scene. Since the car was an older vehicle, it was totaled, leaving very little money for replacement.

Russell has been off work for over a month recovering from his injuries. To add to the complexity of the situation, Russell's wife is bedridden, so he is both the care-giver and the main source of income.

This may seem unreal but unfortunately it is all true. I am looking to raise enough money that will help my friend find reliable transportation. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated and will help a kind and caring gentleman get back on his feet.
