Support for Russ Bridgers

Let’s join together to support Russ Bridgers in his fight against Parkinson's Disease.

Russ Bridgers and Bridgers Barber Shop have been a pillar in our community for many years. Russ is a barber and the owner of Bridgers Barber Shop in Elizabethtown, NC. Russ was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease several years ago. He has been struggling with this disabling disease since his diagnoses, but he has been fighting the symptoms all the way through. Recently, his symptoms have worsened and this dreaded disease has left him not only unable to continue as a barber, but unable to complete daily functions without assistance. Russ doesn’t know how long he will be able to keep the barbershop operating.

This request for assistance is to enable Russ to hire a qualified barber to replace himself at the barbershop and to allow him to seek additional medical treatment to combat this disease.

Russ never thought that he would be placed in this type of situation. His plan was always to continue working as a barber and operating the barbershop for many years to come. While facing this struggle, Russ continues to have the strongest faith in the good Lord! He is also so grateful for the support that he continues to receive from his family, his friends, and his longtime customers.
