Support Russ and Leen During Hospice Care

Our hearts are heavy as we share the news that our Uncle Russ has been diagnosed with late stage colon cancer. This unexpected news has left our family in shock and put an insurmountable level of pressure on Leen and the boys.

A few weeks before Christmas, Russ entered the hospital feeling unwell. He was quickly diagnosed with advanced cancer, leaving doctors with limited treatment options. Russ and Leen are now facing a difficult diagnosis as he enters hospice care, and we want to do everything we can to support him and their family during this challenging time.

Leen has always been extremely dedicated to her family, the boys, and her work and we want to make sure she’s able to focus her attention 100% on Russ’ care, ensuring he’s comfortable and surrounded by loved ones until the very end. However, this will inevitably impact her ability to work, and the mounting medical expenses will undoubtedly create a significant financial burden on their family.
