Hi, my name is Rui, and I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on August 6 2025. The news came as a complete shock. What started some bruising turned out to be a life-altering diagnosis that has flipped my world upside down.

My treatment plan is aggressive, involving intensive chemotherapy and a potential stem cell transplant or bone narrow. I've already begun my journey, and while I'm fighting with everything I have, the financial burden has become overwhelming. The costs of hospital stays, medications, and specialized care are adding up quickly, and my ability to work has been severely impacted.
