Hello, my name is Roxanne, & I'm asking for medical help for Rue. He's the lone survivor of a litter of 6. He is a willful, tough, sweet little kitten beating odds left & right with the attitude of a champion fighter. Let me tell you, he's tough as nails, but at night he's the sweetest snuggle bug you'd ever know. He needs support that I can't give enough of due to me being disabled after surviving a stroke at 39 & being on a fixed income. I give all I am in every aspect of life, but put simply, it still isn't enough.

He got a horrible eye injury on Friday. I immediately started begging for help, knowing it was bad, real bad. But living where I live in an options wasteland, it was impossible. By Sunday night, we had a plan, a 10 am vet appointment, & a few wonderful people saying they'd help. Two did. The prognosis was daunting but hopeful, promising to give us time to financially prepare. But there's been a turn of events forcing the need for surgery to be now. Although the opinion of a few others has shifted to killing him, I am not of the opinion that snuffing out a life for our convenience or simply because I'm poor sits right with me, especially in an otherwise perfectly healthy soul.

So do I think it's worth it? Yes, yes I do. He is an exceptional little squirt. Help him. Thank you
