Hello everyone,

My name is Rudy, and I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, an aggressive form of cancer with complications. I have a wife and three children, and I'm currently raising money to help pay for bills and everyday needs during this challenging time. I have no treatment plan as they put me on hospice, but I'm still not giving up and trying to find a doctor who will treat me.

Being only 45, I'm young and fit, and this diagnosis came out of nowhere. I'm not ready to give up; I'm trying to stay positive and keep fighting. It's tough, but I'm determined to find a way through this. Having the support of my family and friends means a lot to me.

I have been out of work since I was hospitalized a month ago. My spouse has gone above and beyond to ensure everything is taken care of, but I want to help relieve some of her stress with simple things like gas money, protein shakes for me, and covering the water and electric bills, making sure our youngest still has basketball covered. And giving her a day at home with me where she don’t have to worry.

I'm looking into medical leave from work and SSI, but these processes take time.
