UPDATE: Thank you all to everyone that has shared, donated and/or praying for our family. We received the first hospital bill which was $8k to i raised the amount to $15k. Rudy went to the doctor last week and his blood pressure was still pretty high so they upped his BP medication. A referral was sent in for a neurologist so that appt will be made and hopefully we get some answers.

As most of you already know, Rudy Hattley had a stroke on July 23rd due to a blood clot in his carotid artery and on his brain. He was in the hospital for a few days but was discharged under our care. He has lost his memory and is suffering from confusion - diagnosed as Aphasia. We are hoping he recovers from this and is back to his normal self, but they said it will take time. Rudy does not have health insurance, so we are working together to make sure he is getting the best care, but our funds are tight. Due to the memory loss and confusion, he is unable to work. Sadly, he doesn't even know who he is at this time.

If you're in a position to help, we would be grateful. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much.
