In January 2026, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer—a moment that changed everything for me. As someone who works in EMS at LCMC Health, I’ve always been dedicated to helping others, but now I find myself needing help as I navigate this difficult chapter. I am currently on short-term disability while undergoing radiation treatments, which has left me in a financial bind. The combination of medical bills and everyday expenses is overwhelming, especially with the reduced income from disability insurance.
The support I receive from this GoFundMe will help cover the shortfalls that my short-term disability insurance cannot cover. It will go directly toward paying my bills and medical expenses, allowing me to focus on my recovery and return to serving my community as soon as possible. Every bit of help makes a difference, and I am deeply grateful for any support during this time.
To all my friends, co-workers in EMS and hyperbarics, my other friends and past royalty from the Krewe of Tucks: any bit of small help would be very appreciated to help me get through these hard times while I fight to defeat this setback with cancer. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me, and I thank you for standing by my side.
