My name is Anna and I am writing to you on behalf of my husband, Rodolfo Morua (aka Rudy) as he faces the fight of his life against an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma a type of blood Cancer.. A few weeks ago, our world was turned upside down. What started as a persistent abdominal pain and swelling, nausea, vomiting, a feeling of fullness after eating only a small amount, unexplained fatigue and tiredness, and unexplained weight loss, led to a series of tests and biopsies that delivered this shocking news. To those who know him, you know he is the rock of our family, a devoted hard working husband, a loving father to our kids and grandkids and a loyal friend, and above all, a faithful servant of Christ. He's the kind of man who always lends a hand and always fills a room with laughter. We never expected to face a challenge like this but Even in the face of this immense struggle, our faith is our foundation. As it says in Isaiah 41:10, 'So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.' We are holding onto this promise and trusting that the Lord is walking with us through every step of this journey. We are humbly reaching out to ask for your support.. He has already begun 4 different types of intensive chemotherapy. The journey ahead is long and will require all of his strength and focus to heal his body, mind, and spirit. The financial and emotional strain has been immense, All funds raised will go directly toward Covering costly medical treatments, medications, and procedures not fully covered by insurance. Helping with essential living costs like rent, groceries, and utilities while his doing his chemotherapy. Paying for gas to, and from the hospital for his frequent treatments. It is difficult for us to ask for help, but we know that our community and our faith are strongest when we lean on one another. We are humbled and grateful for any support you can offer.
