Deo gratias! Our daughter Ruby has been called to the religious life. She has narrowed down her search to three convents and is ready to make her first visit.

While we are honored that she has been called to this special vocation, which is much needed in the world today, her path to final vows is just beginning. This stage of visiting and discerning to which order she is being called is more costly than we anticipated. We are asking for help in covering travel expenses for Ruby’s first convent visit.

Ruby’s first visit will be to Fort Scott, KS to spend a week with the sisters of Filiae Laboris Mariae. They are a relatively new order and have been moved around a few times. As a result, they do not have guest quarters available. This adds to the expensive of the trip, since Ruby is still a minor and must be accompanied.

We will have a separate campaign for each visit. Any funds raised beyond the goal for this campaign will be applied to the next visit.
