Hello! We’ve started this GoFundMe because our 10 month old puppy Ruby has been diagnosed with liver failure.

We welcomed Ruby along with her sister Whinnie at just 8 weeks old. Watching their unique personalities blossom has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. Ruby, in particular, is the calm in the chaos; she is always gentle and loving. Her favorite thing would have to be belly rubs!

But over the past few months, we started noticing Ruby’s belly becoming bloated. At first, we thought it might be something simple like worms or constipation. But after taking her to the vet and running many different tests, we received the devastating news.

Finding out Ruby has liver failure has been heartbreaking. To give her the best chance at a healthy and happy life, she needs a specialized procedure that comes with a significant cost.
