This is something I never imagined I’d have to do, but I’m reaching out during a really difficult and unexpected moment of our lives.

I recently moved to California with my partner and my mother-in-law, full of hope and excitement for a fresh start. I poured my heart into building my coffee business here, believing this move was the beginning of something beautiful. I truly believed in the dreams I was chasing here.

Unfortunately, we were just informed that our landlord is asking us to leave because he wants to renovate & charge even HIGHER, and has only given us 60 days to find a new place. This sudden news has completely turned our world upside down. My partner & mother-in-law are losing their home of 15+ years. Finding housing in such a short amount of time, while trying to keep our business afloat, has been overwhelming and emotionally draining.

With everything going on, my mother-in-law is also battling end-stage renal disease, and the coffee sales help us cover bills.

I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but right now we really need help. Any support raised will go toward securing a new place to live, moving costs, and staying on our feet while we navigate this transition. This would give us the chance to keep our small business alive and not lose everything we’ve worked so hard for.
