Hi everyone, my name is Maria! You might know me from the tea truck Blue Hour or my juice bar in the valley, Natural Hour. Like many small business owners right now, times have been incredibly tough, and I’ve been doing everything I can just to keep things afloat. 

Today, I’m reaching out because I’m raising funds for my sweet dog Ruby, who has been my best friend and companion for over 10 years. Ruby isn’t just a pet, she’s my sister. She has been by my side through everything, day after day, always bringing comfort, love, and happiness into my life. Anyone who has met Ruby knows how gentle and loving she is. She’s truly the sweetest girl with the kindest heart. This Thursday, Ruby was diagnosed with having too big of a heart, and her condition became serious enough that she needed to be admitted into the emergency pet hospital. She has to stay under medical supervision for a few days while the doctors run tests, monitor her heart, and provide the urgent care she needs.

As you can imagine, emergency vet care is extremely expensive, and the costs of hospitalization, testing, and treatment are adding up quickly. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do it alone. I’m asking for support to help cover Ruby’s emergency hospital stay and the medical care she needs to get through this.
