Sadly, our sister in the Lord, Ruby Rittenhouse, passed into the arms of Yeshua (Jesus) on August 14, 2024 following a sudden illness. Many of you know her as Rabbi Jimmy's mom, but she was a force to be reckoned with in her own right. She was fun, full of life and energy, and was always smiling and laughing. Above all, she loved her Messiah. We pray for Rabbi Jimmy Rittenhouse, Laurie, and all their family as they mourn her loss.
While their burden of grief is great, so is the financial burden. Cemetery and burial expenses have already exceeded $8, 000, and more expenses are yet to come as the clear Ruby's estate.... medical bills, legal fees, etc. Now is the time for the body of Messiah bear one another's burdens. We ask that you help the family carry this heavy burden with your generous donation and heartfelt prayers.
A Memorial service for Ruby will be held on Saturday August 17th at 2:00 at Shammash Ariel - 2612 S Prairie Ave in Pueblo. Dessert to follow. The service will also be live streamed for out of town family and friends.
Burial service will be Monday August 19th at 2:00pm at Evergreen Cemetery - 1005 Hancock Expy in Colorado Springs.
