Our family is asking for support for my dad, Ruben, during this unexpected and difficult time. Ruben is one of the hardest working men you could ever meet — a loving husband, devoted father, and true family man. He is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

Since Friday, 4/24/26, he has been hospitalized after experiencing serious health issues and was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. Prior to being admitted, he had already been unable to work full time because his body was not feeling well. During his hospital stay, he has undergone procedures such as cardioversion and has started medications to help restore his heart rhythm and improve his health.

As the main provider for our family, this has been a major setback. Ruben will need time to rest, recover, and make important lifestyle changes before returning to work. During this time, medical bills and everyday household expenses continue to grow.
