Support Ruben's Journey to Recovery

Hi my name is Ruben Serna, I have been diagnose with kidney failure back in 2015 before the passing of my mother. At the age of 14, I pursued my career as a chef I have worked sometimes 2 jobs to provide for my children as a single father, even thou I was diagnose with both kidney failure I continued to work. I have been on dialysis for the past 9 years and was told nobody makes it no more then 10 years. I continued to work up to January 2024 where I had to retire early due to me passing out at work on many occasions.

On May 30th 2024 at 3:30 am My phone rang, It was Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

telling me I have 4 hours to get there for they had a Kidney for me. Thank you God for answering our prayers. As this process ain't over. Unfortunately my wife had to quit her job to attend to me. This Go Fund me I created is for medical bills that have accumulated thru out the years and unforeseen medical treatments and travel expenses that will continue through out my full recovery .
