In Loving Memory of Rubencio “Nugget” Gonzalez
With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved Rubencio Gonzalez. On Thursday, April 24th, 2025, we lost one of the most vibrant, joyful, and loving souls. Rubencio—known to many as “Nugget”—was a son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and dear friend whose presence lit up every room. His love for music, dancing, and the outdoors reflected the boundless joy he carried within him.
Rubencio taught us how to truly live—with positivity, laughter, and unwavering gratitude. Though he often thought we inspired him, it was truly Rubencio who inspired us all. His spirit reminded us to embrace life fully, no matter the challenges.
He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply: His father, Jubencio Gonzalez; his sisters: Carmen Perez, Vivian Perez Cochrane (Darryn Cochrane), Elizabeth Perez, Rosa Iris Richard (Kenneth Richard), Elida Perez, Elizabeth Perez Vargas (Armando Vargas); his brothers: Eradin Julio Perez (Ashley Duran), Ruben Gonzalez Jr. (Aida Duran), and Ray Davi Gonzalez. At Heaven’s gates, he is reunited with his beloved mother, Norma Iris Gonzalez, and cherished sister, Juana Joanna Perez.
Rubencio, you are already so missed. We pray that you’re driving the coolest car up there and dancing your heart out, finally at peace.
This sudden loss has left our family not only in grief but also unprepared for the financial costs of his farewell. If you are able to contribute or simply share this message, your support means the world to us. Every donation, no matter the size, and every share is deeply appreciated as we celebrate the beautiful life of our Nugget.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and kindness during this time. We are forever grateful.
Rubencio “Nugget” Gonzalez — your light lives on. Rest in the sweetest, purest peace.
