My uncle Ruben Pinedo was the life of the party everywhere he went. He was cheerful, hard working, and a man of devout faith. Over the last few months he began feeling less and less like himself and after many unsuccessful doctor appointments and lab work that showed he was "fine", my uncle was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer that had unfortunately spread to his lungs. Because of the location of his cancer, it was said to be incurable with a prognosis of 1-2 months to live if all things stayed the same.

After learning this news, he began chemotherapy within days and gave it his best fighting chance, but the damage had been done. Our beloved Ruben passed away the morning of September 22, 2025 just weeks after learning that this disease had overtaken his organs.

Because of how quickly everything happened, my uncle did not have prior arrangements and his family is now in the difficult position of grieving his sudden passing and losing their head of household. If you are in a position to contribute, we would be forever grateful.
