Support Ruan's Fight Against Deportation
Donation protected
Hello friends, I am Athena Araujo-Brito, and my younger brother, Ruan Viana Brito, has been detained by immigration while trying to renew his status in the country. We have very minimal contact with him and are not always made aware of his well-being or whereabouts.
Ruan first came to the United States at just 2 years old, too young to make the decision for himself. If Ruan is forced to leave, it will devastate our family. His dreams, his career, and his life will be ripped away over something he had no control over as a child.
Ruan is not just fighting for his right to stay in the country, he is fighting for his future, for his family, for the life he has built here. He has worked tirelessly to support us, learning new trades and skills to provide a better life for those he loves. He is a talented painter, a gifted musician, and a young man with dreams that should not be stolen from him.
My family is desperately trying to raise funds to afford the legal help we need to fight for Ruan’s right to stay in the United States. Immigration cases are expensive, and we are running out of time. No family should have to go through this heartbreak. Please, if you can, donate. Any amount helps. If you can’t donate, please share Ruan’s story. Please, help us keep our family whole.
