Support RU Natya on Our Journey to Excellence!

We are RU Natya, Rutgers University's only premier competitive Indian Classical Dance Team. Our mission is to preserve and showcase the rich traditions of Indian classical dance while infusing it with modern storytelling to captivate audiences.

This year, we’ve been honored to receive invitations to compete at three prestigious competitions across the country. These opportunities not only allow us to share our passion but also push us to grow as dancers and ambassadors of this beautiful art form. So far, we have been awarded 2nd place at "Laasya" in San Francisco and 3rd place at "Nakshatra" in Madison Wisconsin, and finally 2nd place at "Dhirana" in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This means that we are officially qualified for the national championships in Chicago!!!

However, traveling to these events comes with significant costs, including transportation, accommodation, costumes, and registration fees. As a student-led team, we rely on community support to make our dreams a reality.
